Explore our new service at Chula DigiVerse, Thailand and Southeast Asia in the Cold War Period, and the Rare Books Collections

Commemorating King Vajiravudh on Vajiravudh Day, on November 25, 2023, the Office of Academic Resources at Chulalongkorn University proudly introduces ‘Chula DigiVerse’, a large open-access digital repository for worldwide.

Integrating with the existing electronic repositories of the OAR office, Chula DigiVerse offers a rich array of collections, such as the Chulalongkorn University Intellectual Repository (CUIR), Thailand and Southeast Asia in the Cold War Period, the Rare Books Collections, and the Multimedia and E-Lecture Archive. Additionally, Chula DigiVerse is designed to ensure the integrity and completeness of digital assets, facilitate their long-term preservation and recoverability, and safeguard against technological shifts and cybersecurity threats. The full system and collection transfer are scheduled for completion by September 2024.

พร้อมให้บริการแล้ว! Chula DigiVerse คลังสารสนเทศดิจิทัลใหม่ของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย

เนื่องในโอกาสวันสมเด็จพระมหาธีรราชเจ้า วันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน 2566 สำนักงานวิทยทรัพยากร จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้เปิดตัว Chula DigiVerse ซึ่งเป็นแพลตฟอร์มคลังสารสนเทศดิจิทัล ที่ได้รับการพัฒนาขึ้นใหม่ โดยการบูรณาการคลังสารสนเทศเดิมของสำนักงานฯ ไว้ในที่เดียวกัน ได้แก่ คลังปัญญาจุฬาฯ (CUIR), คลังเอกสารยุคสงครามเย็น, คลังหนังสือหายาก (Rare Books Collections) และคลังสื่อมัลติมีเดียออนไลน์

ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้ประชาคมจุฬาฯ และบุคคลทั่วไปที่สนใจสามารถเข้าถึงแหล่งข้อมูลออนไลน์ผลงานวิชาการ และเอกสารดิจิทัลต่าง ๆ ของจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้อย่างเสรี (Free Open Access) ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง และแพลตฟอร์มดังกล่าวยังรองรับขั้นตอนและกระบวนการสงวนรักษาไฟล์ดิจิทัล (Digital Preservation) ตามมาตรฐานสากล เพื่อการรับประกันการเข้าถึงไฟล์ดิจิทัลได้ในระยะยาว และสามารถคงเนื้อหาของไฟล์ดิจิทัลอยู่ได้ แม้ว่ารูปแบบไฟล์เดิมจะเสื่อมสภาพลง โดยในระยะแรกจะเป็นการนำร่อง ให้สามารถใช้บริการได้บางคอลเลกชันก่อน และจะใช้งานได้ครบทุกคอลเลกชันภายในไตรมาสแรกของปี 2567

แต่ทั้งนี้สำหรับท่านที่เป็นแฟน ๆ ของคลังสารสนเทศเดิม ก็ยังคงสามารถใช้งานคลังต่าง ๆ ได้ตามปกติ
